Religious depictions and theological themes, as shown in our dramatic Crocifissione Wall Tapestry, dominated artwork through the Renaissance period. Based on Fran Angelico’s painting of The Last Judgement in the Church of Santa Maria Degli Angeli sometime between 1225 to 1231. Our finely woven tapestry excerpt details the crucifixion of Christ, surrounded by the saints and angels. The cotton and viscose yarn is woven in glorious colors of vibrant blue, red, gold, green, pink, and white. Backed with lining and tunnel for easy hanging.
